Condensation
Condensation is the moisture that forms when humid air meets a cold surface, such as a cold water pipe or an AC coil. EPA says lowering humidity and insulating cold surfaces helps prevent it.
Why it matters in a South Florida home
In a humid climate, cold surfaces sweat. EPA advises reducing humidity and covering cold surfaces, such as cold water pipes, with insulation to prevent condensation.
